I have eczema. Really badly.
I have had a very atypical experience with eczema. Eczema usually appears when you’re young and goes away as you get older. However, I never struggled with eczema when I was young, and it appeared right before I went to college. Additionally, eczema usually occurs behind your knees or on your elbows. Mine is on the back of my thighs which is also super not normal.
Let me tell you guys.
My eczema used to be TERRIBLE.
All throughout college, my eczema was terrible. It limited my options for clothing and made me extremely self-conscious.
I tried everything in the book and went to so many doctors. So many doctors that my insurance started to call me to see if they could “help” (AKA stop going to so many doctors).
The doctors would give me medicine that worked for a couple of weeks, but after it wore off, the flare-up would be worse than before.
I was going crazy trying to figure out how to get this problem under control.
One thing that has helped and, honestly, started my recovery journey, was acupuncture. Acupuncture helped my eczema SO MUCH. More than any medicine any doctor ever gave me.
Another thing that has helped me tremendously is this smoothie.
This smoothie is packed with Vitamin C and powerful anti-inflammatory components! These help to keep my eczema at bay by fighting inflammation in my body
Did you know that strawberries have more Vitamin C than oranges? WELL, THEY DO!
